Chapter 8

It seemed as if the moment, she got off the table her life did a total 360. Margo kept his word and cut her off from everything. Not only that, it seemed she was blackballed from the business. She couldn’t find one connect that would fuck with her. Her clientele were now spoiled and used to a certain level of product and not only that her name was on the line. She couldn’t just go from selling sugar to selling shit and they were running low on both. Why Margo couldn’t just put the bullshit to the side and keep at least a working relationship with her, she would never understand; but she didn’t have time to dwell on it either. They needed to make some serious moves or they were going to be in some serious trouble.

Walking outside, she looked for her car and it was nowhere to be found. Thinking she was trippin hard, she thought just maybe she forgot that she parked it in the garage. Turning on her heels, she walked back inside and took the elevator down to the parking garage. Her Bentley was nowhere in sight, her first thought was that it was stolen. But, as quick as that thought came it went. Picking up her phone, she dialed Margo’s number. On the third ring someone answered but it wasn’t Margo.

“Where is he Joseph?”

“How can I help you Ms. Brianna?”

“You can help me, by telling that ass hole to bring my damn car back?”

“The Bentley is registered to ALI Enterprises and has now been returned to its rightful owner, have a nice day.” Was all he said before, she heard a dial tone in her ear.

“Such a fucking bitch” she yelled stomping her feet, she really loved that car. After getting herself together, she looked at her old Benz and sucked her teeth. Never in a million years did she think she would be driving this shit again, but she was glad she never sold it. Looking on her keychain for the key it wasn’t there. So she went back up stairs and turned her apartment upside down before she found it.

Pissed off she was finally ready to go. She had a lot on her mind as she headed to Diamonds to meet up with Just and Tony. Hopefully they were having more luck than she was having. Pulling up in the back, she parked her car and headed inside. Before she even reached the office she could hear yelling and that was not good. Waking inside, Just and Tony were in a heated debate.

“So I take it we still don’t have a connect.”

They looked at her before huffing and puffing their chest out. “No we don’t, thanks to you nobody will fuck with us.”

“Thank you for that Just as if I’m not going through enough bullshit, playing the blame game is just what I need.” She smiled before rolling her eyes sarcastically.

“Man whatever” he chuckled already working overtime on an exit plan.
